Charles Crowther

Mr. Crowther's teaching career spans thirty-five years in both public and private schools and colleges in the United States and abroad. This is comprised of seventeen years teaching English to native speakers and over eighteen years teaching English as a second language (ESL). His overseas assignments include the following: two years teaching ESL on a Fulbright grant at Anatolia College in Thessaloniki, Greece; lecturer on American literature at the Casa Thomas Jefferson in Brasilia, Brazil; Head teacher at Kemya in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia; and most recently, a second visit to Vinnytsia Pediagogical Institute in Ukaine, where he conducted workshops in ESL for Ukrainian English teachers.

Mr. Crowther presently serves on the executive board of NNETESOL (Northern New England Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) and was its president in 1993-1994.
